Tile rank is a targeted tool so you have to tell it which pages you want to monitor. Some pages may well already be on the system but that will be because other account managers from other game studios have requested the page.
The pages do take a little time to appear because they all have to be analysed and it is not a quick process since it has to emulate a real person scrolling to trigger lazy loading or clicking the show more buttons.
There will be some sites which provide no details at all about each game in text, only showing the game tile image making it almost impossible to identify the studio and game. In those circumstances, you can look at the tile content of the page and claim any tiles that are yours and associate each tile with your game game. Once Tilerank knows that the tile is yours it can then keep you updated along with all other tiles that use the same image.
I a tile is showing as one of yours and it isn't, simply click on the tile to go to its individual record and click on the button which says "not our tile".
There are 2 ways you can find the position of a tile on a particular page:-
Select the "Pages" menu item and then drill down through the domain (you can filter the domains to find the one you are looking for) and then select the page to see all of your tiles on that page together with their respective positions.
Select "Games" menu item and then selct the game you are interested in. Select the domain from the presented list (again you can filter the domains) and then you can see the various pages within that domain with the gametiles relating to that game and their relative positions.
The lists of domains are in order of the number of your tiles found in descending order, so the domains at the top of the list are the busiest with your content. You can also filter the domains by name to find the one you are interested in.
Under the "Management" menu item you can add pages to be monitored. The best way of making sure that the address is correct id to lok at the actual page in a browser (we recommend you use chrome) and copy the full url from the address bar. You can then paste it into the field to add it to our database. It should contain "http://" , the domain name and the actual end point.
There can be a number of reasons that our crawler is initially unable to analyse a page.
The website is geoblocked - in this case you will need to let tilerank know what geolocation (country usually, but can be down to individual state sometimes) is allowed. The crawler will ten attempt to analyse the pages on that domain again.
The design of the website can sometimes block analysis
Tilerank is quite capable of analysing "lazy load" style sites, but some site still use "show more" buttons. If those buttons are in a language other than English by default and we do not already support that language, then you will need to let us know and we can add it.
In short, Tilerank is as comprehensive as it is possible to be. We use sophisticated algorithms to navigate each page to identify the game tiles, the associated games, game suppliers and their relative positions. Usually we do not analyse beyond 500 game tiles on a page as it is unlikely that a real person will navigate that far down a page. There are, however, website designers who will employ techniques which make their sites very attractive but extremely difficult to analyse. Whilst we will make every effort to accommodate these techniques, alas sometimes it is simply not possible.
Tilerank uses sophisticated algorithms to identify game tiles and then associate them with game providers and the individual game titles. It will also note the position of the tiles on the page.
